About Artist
The paintings of Morton Wendt Tucker, Jr. have been exhibited
in solo and group shows in museums, galleries and cultural centers
in the United States, including the 2006 Biennial: Contemporary American
Realism at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art in Fort Wayne, Indiana,
and the National Small Works Exhibition sponsored by the Schoharie
County Arts Council in Cobleskill, New York. His work will be included
in the "New Acquisitions" exhibition at the Brauer Museum of Art in
Valparaiso, Indiana in the Summer of 2008.
In addition, Tucker's paintings are in private, public, and corporate
collections, including those of the Fort Wayne Museum of Art in Fort Wayne,
Indiana; the Brauer Museum of Art in Valparaiso, Indiana; and the Petroleum Traders
Corporation of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born in Hammond, Indiana in 1960.
